Ultrasound Scan in Kumasi, Koforidua and Obuasi

Ultrasound uses sound waves to image organs in real time, with no radiation. Our sonographers and radiologists perform a full range of diagnostic scans at Totalite Health centres in Kumasi, Koforidua and Obuasi, with reports usually ready the same day.

Scans we perform: abdominal and pelvic scans, obstetric scans (dating, anomaly and growth), transvaginal scans, thyroid and neck, breast, scrotal, musculoskeletal, Doppler of arteries and veins, echocardiography and ultrasound-guided biopsy.

Preparation: for abdominal scans, fast for 6 hours. For pelvic and early pregnancy scans, drink 3 to 4 glasses of water an hour before and do not empty your bladder. Other scans need no preparation.
